Mpc-hc/ madVR will play DV?
I tested with Mpc-hc/MadVR now, and I got only HDR10. DTS:X MA sound though.
Amazingly, the video player on my LG C8 OLED plays the file with Dolby Vision!
I thought MP4 Dolby Vision REMUX only plays Lossy Audio such as AC3 5.1? But this File contains lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1! Is it possible now to watch in Higher audio quality?

How to proper playblack dv? I ve tried but only hdr is triggered on my tv (lg b7), i m using mpcbe + madvr
HTPC does not support DV. you need to play it directly in your TV USB port or use a bluray player.

Good to know, I just bought one. That’s why I downloaded the whole things (bdmv) when there is Dolby Vision content.
This might be the only proper Dolby Vision HDR rip of this movie. Remuxing to an MKV container strips the Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision movies should be ripped to MP4 using the Dolby Vision freeware to compile it. MakeMKV or any of the MKV tools destroy (remove) the Dolby Vision track, resulting in a butchered release. You will need a TV that is DV compatible (Best of luck 🙂 ).
